WTF?!?!

"Fiction Plane Info Center is proud to present an extremely rare recording session by a one-time side project featuring the members of Fiction Plane.

CODE SEVEN is, as the band describes it, an A cappella, Freestyle Hip-Hop, Folk Rock experiment.

These recordings were produced during one long night during the 2008 Unity Tour - where Fiction Plane shared the stage with Snoop Dogg and 311.

On the very late evening of July 20, after the band’s performance at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA and just prior to their headline show at Seacret’s in Ocean City, MD (July 21), Fiction Plane and members of Snoop Dogg’s band and entourage sat down in Pete Wilhoit’s bunk (we guess it was a pretty large bunk) on the tour bus and decided to make some magic.

The session became known as the BapTized Recordings.

While these tracks may be deemed offensive and a little misogynistic to some, it does offer a glimpse at Fiction Plane’s amazing ability to create enticing melodies in a spontaneous setting. (ha ha ha ha ha  )

One track during this session, “Gonna Get Up”, was deemed so infectious that Fiction Plane ended up incorporating it into a jam during their set at the Unity Tour’s final dates in Austin, TX.

Whether or not CODE SEVEN will return is undetermined, however, the members of Fiction Plane have remained in contact with their new friends."

yeah, I didn't want to post that here when I first received it, because it kind of offended me [I'm not a prude by any means as I even have a 2 Live Crew LP from in my youth]. I just think some things are better left between friends. But hey, all publicity is good publicity....I guess.

Ha! When I saw code 7, I thought you all had come up with some sort of rating/warning system for truly bad music.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

This.

I mean, I'm a pretty big Fiction Plane fan myself, but...

Do we really need audio-taped evidence of monotonous, (what sounds like) drug-induced crap-rap-jamming?
