OT: PSA: Making shorter URLs (website address links)

I remember someone somewhere commenting on not knowing how to make long URLs shorter, but I just can't seem to remember in what thread I saw that. So in the hope that it will help someone somewhere, two websites:

http://tr.im/

http://tinyurl.com/

There are bound to be more services out there; those just happen to be the ones that I know. All you need to do is copy and paste a really long-ass URL into one of those websites, and it will generate a short and sweet URL that you can use instead.

Nope, they're plain old free. They're not upload services or anything. They just generates redirects so that you can use short links that don't blow page layouts apart. Very cool.
