...anyone willing to humor a little maternal pride?

I mentioned my emerging musician in another post. PLEASE feel free to go to YouTube and enter "Kiernan Murphy". First and only time my boy has ever played in front of an audience (high school "Idol" takeoff), first song he ever wrote, first time I ever heard him sing - I stood in the back of the auditorium because I knew I would cry me a river, which I did. He was 16; 17 now. He is MORTIFIED when I play this for friends, but WHO CARES?! - HE'LL NEVER KNOW!

Ha! Finally found a way around my very slow internet connection to watch something on youtube.

Your son was great and I loved all the cheers and enthusiasm in the background. No wonder you are so proud. What a very handsome young man you have as a son too.

Keep mortifieying him. As a proud Mum you're allowed to and I fully believe that it's in the Mum/teenager contract.

Thanks - some young girl to my right yelled "I want you, Kiernan!" just after he finished. Good thing for her it was dark - kidding, of course. My daughter is home from school - listening to Stephen and Damion Marley instead of Christmas music, lol
