Well sorry to be completely self-indulgent, but December 23rd is always a special day in my calendar, because it's the anniversary of the first time I saw The Police play live *sigh*

I was an awe-struck 15 year old who was left completely speechless (literally) for an hour after seeing my favourite band play at the hallowed ground of the Brighton Centre

The support act were The Alarm - completely brilliant and VERY 80's! Ended up seeing them about 10 times over the following years too. Was completely besotted with Dave Sharp
