Blow it?

I'm certain all will be fine, as long as that snare's still crackin'. All of them have done so much on their own sice the good ol' days and they've grown so much musically. This will only enhance the performance. It will still rock, but it'll also have that added depth from all of that experience.

Yeah, I meant Vinx. I don't know where Onyx came from (old age probably) It's the song that appears at the end of the film.
I basically answered that if you expect them to act like 20 years olds, then yes, you probably will be disappointed.
Ahh they're not so old that they can't still jump around...
Having seen Stewart play with Oysterhead last summer, I can tell you there's not much to worry about as far as them not rocking. FWIW.
It's Stewart, of coarse he'll be awesome. No worries there.
I, too, would like to see them tackle 50's guitar rock.
No, I must be allowed to embarrass myself by singing along.

Think Stewart will bring a camera again? I want him to film behind the drum set again, I loved that!
“...and er, did anyone try just pushing this little red button?”

I saw Stewart and Andy perform a few Police songs with the Jaguares a few years ago. I've seen Oysterhead, I've seen Andy at jazz clubs on numerous occasions... I'm not concerned, they still kick ass!

wel,
I´ve seen the Stones one year ago...
and they were better than all the new groups anyway...

if Stewart,Andy and Sting will rock the world....

they will do...

they´re excellent musicians...

and they know what they have to do...

I´m absolutely sure that Stewart and Andy can play Stings former band to the wall...

it has nothing to do with the age...

they´re the POLICE...

they wil fuck your minds off...

sorry, I didn´t wanted to offend anyone...
but I read a lot of threads in several boards now from people who are saying "the guys are too old" etc...
I mean this is not a reunion from old pensioners...
All of them made music for several years now...
They know what to do...
and they know how to do it... 8)

No offense taken by anyone, I don't think. I just about laughed my head off at your post, really.

Where are you in the world? We have lots of folks from just about everywhere. Wouldn't surprise me a bit to start seeing people writing from the North Pole or that one research station in Antarctica...;)
